Terms of Service

Welcome to Fabrizico PTY LTD t/as Parlour Printing. We provide services subject to the following terms of service. By engaging with Fabrizico PTY LTD t/as Parlour Printing you are bound by these terms of service and any changes made to it thereafter. If you do not agree to the terms of service then you may discontinue your interaction with Fabrizico PTY LTD t/as Parlour Printing.

These terms of service govern the services provided by Fabrizico PTY LTD t/as Parlour Printing to you “The Client.” A condition of Fabrizico PTY LTD t/as Parlour Printing providing the service is that these terms of service take precedence over any other agreement or representation regarding the service. Fabrizico PTY LTD t/as Parlour Printing reserves the right to make changes to the service agreement at any time.

  1. Parlour Printing Service

Parlour Printing offers a wide range of natural stock fabrics that are available for customers to have their artwork designs digitally printed onto.

Parlour Printing offers a commission printing service, accepting fabric supplied by the customer for pre-processing, printing and post processing. 

  1. Due Skill Care and Diligence

Parlour Printing has the knowledge and ability reasonably required to undertake the service. In providing the service Parlour Printing will exercise the degree of skill, care and diligence normally expected from a competent organisation.

  1. Business Purposes

The client agrees that it is acquiring the services for a purpose of a business and that the provisions of the Competition and Consumer ACT 2010 and the Australian Consumer Law apply in relation to those services.

  1. Payment of Fees

All goods must be paid for in advance of collection or postage. The client agrees to pay a deposit of 50% prior to commencement of stock printing, and 100% upfront payment for processing of client supplied fabrics. 

Orders from New Zealand will be charged in Australian dollars. Your payment provider may apply a currency conversion rate or add related fees to your order. You should check with your payment provider for details of any such conversion rate or fees.

  1. Acknowledgement of Risk

The client acknowledges the inherent risk involved in the services undertaken and that Parlour Printing cannot guarantee, nor is any warranty given, that any particular results will be achievable. The client understands and agrees that the service provided may include advice and recommendations, but all decisions with connection to the implementation of such advice and recommendations shall be the responsibility of, and made by the client.

  1. Terms Relating to Specific Service
    • Providing Artwork

When providing artwork for print Parlour Printing can only reproduce artwork based off the file that has been provided. When providing artwork for printing the client acknowledges they have approved the file is suitable for print and are in control of the outcome. This relates to the scale the artwork is set to, the quality of pixels in the image, a reasonable understanding of the outcomes and related limitations of a digital file being printed onto a textile.

It is the responsibility of the client to provide all files in the correct format ready for printing. This includes file at the correct scale and orientation, as a flattened and compressed image if layers have been used, if spacing is needed between files then that must be applied to the artwork, files are more often than not printed one after the other without a gap, if you have a placement print and need spacing it must be included in the file. Details of file formats are available at www.parlourprinting.com.au . Parlour Printing will not take responsibility for any changes that have been made by Parlour Printing to client files at the clients request.

By providing artwork files for print the client is acknowledging they have full ownership, permissions or licensing rights to reproduce and replicate a print/artwork/design/drawing/illustration. Please see further detail on point 7 and 8.

 

    • Colour Reproduction

Parlour Printing will to the best of their ability reproduce an artwork, print, digital file onto a textile to achieve the best possible colour match. Our colour profiling enhances colours and brightness to match screen vibrancy and enhance the beauty of the print on fabric. By printing files with Parlour Printing you are accepting print colour will have variation from screen to textile and not all colours can be printed. Variation between different fabrics is inevitable and must be taken into account if trying to match different fabrics. If many colours are used in the artwork it may be impossible to match every colour exactly to screen and to other fabrics printed with the same image by us and by other printers.

Colour variation from monitor to the printed fabric is inevitable. If specific colours are required it is the responsibility of the client to discuss this with Parlour Printing. All colour matching services are chargeable.

    • Fabric Selection

It is strongly recommended that printing be applied to the stock service fabrics provided by Parlour Printing. However clients can provide their own natural fibre based fabrics for a Minimum quantity of 5m, on approval of fabric from Parlour Printing and meeting the Parlour Printing requirement for printed minimums and set-up fees. Clients providing fabrics do so on the understanding that Parlour Printing will accept no responsibility for shrinkage, skewing, colour change, bleeding and overall print quality which might be attributed to the fabric supplied. It is the clients responsibility to provide detailed instructions on required print placements and application across the surface of the fabric. Clients must undertake a test print  of a minimum of 1 metre before committing to a larger quantity. Because supplied fabrics that are unknown to Parlour Printing have not been tested for print colour callibration, we cannot and will not guarantee colour or print reproduction accuracy. It is the clients responsibility to ensure all supplied fabric 

Parlour Printing stock service fabrics have been selected due to their quality and performance when printed, and has been profiled for colour reproduction accuracy. There may be circumstances where faults in the fabric, fabric preparation or printing has occurred and not been noticed prior to shipping. Due to the “hand crafted” nature of textile printing, some small flaws are inevitable and there is a tolerance

Natural fabrics will always have subtle imperfections, it may be in yarn, weave or dye finishing process. Parlour Printing will not guarantee subtle imperfections will not be included in any given fabric order. These include, fluff, slubbing, yarn thickness variation, skew and off-grain at selvage, fibre cross pollution presenting variation in yarn colour. If you have an artwork that will not accommodate natural fabric imperfections that cannot be mitigated against, it is best to speak to us so we can provide the right recommendation for your project or product.
